About the Author -  On a professional level, Mike has worked in the Aviation Industry for over four decades. To his credit, he solely designed, built and developed a project called “Heli-Cam” the world’s first successful FPV controlled “Aerial Drone” with a payload up to 245 lbs with a rotor span of 19 feet designed for Military front line warfare use. Mike's project led to contracts and flight services for firms such as; Martin Marietta Aerospace, Night Vision Labs, ADAT’s, Hughes Helicopter, Bell Helicopter, US Border Patrol, FBI, US Army, Drug Enforcement as well as consulting and flight services for numerous companies world wide to include Embry Riddle Aeronautical Institute.

In the Private Sector -  Mike is a four-time National AMA Helicopter Champion. In the 80's, Mike pioneered the first RC Helicopter in the US as well as electric models a concept utilized in every drone today. Mike also designed the first professional Motion Picture Filming and Aerial Surveillance Platform called; "Heli-Cam" which led to contracts with the motion picture and still photography industry, where he flew for companies such as National Inquire Magazine and others. Mike was also Publisher & Editor for 19 years of a leading helicopter publication titled - Rotory Modeler Magazine. Mike also designed the first Lithium RV systems over a decade ago and continues to provide his RV lithium designed systems to the RV Industry.
