All I know is what's posted on the Miniature Aircraft website, and they're not posting any kind of date yet.

I keep looking at that machine and thinking that it's very atypical of MA's design ethic. Direct servo actuation (no bellcranks)? Belt primary drive? Belt tail drive? Certainly different from their usual architecture.

With the teething problems that MA's been experiencing with the Spectra-G and Stratus, I hope this new 50 venture pans out for them.

The electric version is currently being flown. It has been for a couple of weeks now. The nitro version will began the test phase in the next few days. The current plan is have the models on the market in about 3 months.

At first I thought it was really cool, but the kit price of 600.00 is a

I'm hoping that the 600.00 price tag is the full retail price and that the street price will be in the 400 dollar range. Even if that's true MA repair prices are still high.

I would really like to support MA, but the cost is still to high.

If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy
all that ACME crap,
why didn't he just buy dinner?

I sure hope the 50 pans out too ! I`ve been hoping for a 50 class ship that compares to likes of ( M.A, JR, Bergen )e.t.c . Far as cost go`s J.R.`S airskipper 50 around 500.00 if not little more, other than that there`s really nothing else catching my eye right now. I also like BK`s bergen 50 but i don`t believe they sell them any more,at least i haven`t see them listed on their web site. I`m really not to big of rush right yet,I plan on flying my R-50 all this summer and build my next ship in the fall sometime.
