I've just pickep up my first Heli - A nexus 30S of ebay (yes I know- maybe not the smartest move) the previous owner had crashed it, purchased a whole whack of new parts, and replaced what he thought needed replacing. Well, he missed a few damaged parts - like the main rotor shaft, the flybar shaft, the pitch slider (was partially melted), the tail rotor shaft, etc. Luckily he had provided most of these as spares. I noticed that there where a couple of little plastic spacers missing between the blade holders and the rotor head. These are items #354 in the manual. The seller has stated he will try to get me replacements, but I am really anxious to get this puppy off the ground. If anyone has these parts readily available and a good set of dial calipers, could you please measure this item for me? The I.D. would be 5.00mm, the O.D. of the thinner portion would probably be 8.00mm and the larger portion 14.5mm. The length would probably be between 19-20mm. I have the ability to make these parts, but just don't have the measurements. Thanks.

updated! thanks for the greetings. I have gone and maufactured these spacers, other than the length. I am going to assume that tightening the nuts on the blade holders will yield a snug fit, with no lateral movement in the blade hoders. unless some else chimes in, I will adjust the length to just start to compress the rubber dampners.

I feel a bit useless right now. I sold my Nexus a few months ago. Someone else must have one.

20mm (.787") it is I've also replaced the inner pitch slider sleeve with a stainless steel one, the original plastic version was melted. I'm keeping a catalog of any parts I make - you never know when that information will come in handy
