Alright, I have been just sitting back trying to stomach all this crap that you idiots are handing out and I just can’t take it any longer.
Are you guy’s stupid or what? Can’t you see what Mike is trying to say that if a blade stalls at 15 degrees you can’t run 18 or 20 or 45 degrees? He didn’t invent this, its fact. Do a damn search on Goggle there’s thousands of illustrations and text that say just that.
You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. Mike has done more for model helicopters than anyone in the world. You losers only wish you had even one of his many contributions to this hobby.
Don’t you people have something else to do other than to waste his time?

Thanks Jim,
I did not know till now that I`m a loser. Mr. Mikey is not the only one who has done alot for this hobby. It was only a matter of time before someone would had done what he did. He just happen to be the one to do it. I would have to believe there were several on his heels getting just as close all over this world. There are many people who help this hobby everyday and are never named or even known about. I use Mas setup but I had to change it to fit my engines. My engines can pull more than +/-9 degrees but I also try to manage my pitch thru out my aerobatics never hitting full collective unless needed. I`m a no name flyer, never will compete in contests, & will be just an average flyer the rest of my life but I contribute almost everyday to this hobby helping people. Little people in this hobby are just as valuable as your man Mike probably more in some cases. Once Again Thanks... I now know am a Loser and your man is the god of helis.

Colin you need to grow up and respect your elders, I seen the report on the XFC in Rotory. Mike spoke personally to every pilot and each one admitted they were using his Mas Tech Set-up. Just because a pilot uses 10 or 12 degrees instead of 9 degrees, or makes minor adjustments to the set-up, does not change the fact they are still using it.
Regarding your stupid post asking if Mike ever flew an 80-90 helicopter, now what do you think. Even before most models are released, he has them in for review. Do your research, Mike helped pioneer big block helicopters for 3D and FAI way back in 1992 when he worked for Hirobo / MRC. I was there and he was running Enya 80 engines in SST Eagles. He did all the initial testing, gear ratios, and blade tests for Hirobo In Japan before most even heard of an 80-90 powered helicopters.
Peter – what can I say, the more you speak, the dumber you look. Now you’re comparing a car stalling to your helicopter stalling. If that’s not bad enough, this dilemma of telling everyone you can use up to 45 degrees of pitch, tops the charts of all times for stupidity for any pilot to date. Even a rank beginner knows how to set pitch limits on his model. What the hell happed to you?
You need to look in your own back yard. Most all the scale community has distanced themselves from you, because you have a way of insulting almost everyone you talk to. Aside from the stupid statement’s you make, your blunders with helis when your not crashing them are just as bad. My personal favorite was when you were using 2 one quart glass jugs for tanks to hold gasoline on your 1/4 scale Lama heli. Talk about a safety issue! Your “Emmy” for “best ever stunt” was getting the contest rules changed in AMA Scale. Because you had problems with the maneuvers and the course, you pushed to get a rule change through the AMA under a false pretence of a “Safety Issue” so you would have a better advantage against other pilots. There’s not one scale pilot that agreed with this un-needed rule change and no one wanted to fly their scale model at that distance from themselves. I’ve been on the scale forums and everyone agrees your rule blunder truly set scale helicopters back 10 years.
What the hell Peter, it worked, your rule change succeeded in discouraging just about every pilot from showing up at contest. Guess what, you started winning scale contest because there was no competiting. The question is how do you really feel about winning when only 2 or 3 pilots show up at the contest.
Just for all our forum pitch experts, Phil, Alaxander, and of course our 45 degree Scale expert, Peter, I’ll leave you with a nice illistration of a main rotor system showing a retreating blade stall. Pay careful attention to the left side of the disk, and pay even more careful attention to the pitch setting and exactly where the blade stalls. Maybe now the 14 degrees might have a hint of reality for you guys. This is exactly what Mike has attemped to explain, but rather than learn something, you guys insisted on twisting the facts with garbage posts.
The 9/0/9 three-point set-up with linear throttle and pitch curves is the best overall set-up for model helicopters period! This is the reason almost every pilot in the world has adopted this set-up. I know it kills you guys to hear this, but it’s just the way it is!
I have had enough of this so I’m shutting down this thread.
