to learn how to hold a solid hover go and edit the airport in the real flight g2 and place a "bull's-eye" about 12 feet in diameter and try to keep the heli in the middle then keep making the bull'seye smaller works great joe

I've found that putting too much trim in the T.R. and just letting it do sloww piroettes then try to hover in one place really helps. good exersice for learnin ALL orientations.

Airbrush,
I think we talked about this at the gathering, and yes, that is a very good training exercise, will help you keep that machine stationary at all piro rates once down, very cool, I do the same to practice

Air brush dude I did a similar thing in G2 using the wind function, I'd turn of the heading hold on the gyro and set the wind so is fairly strong and varies from 360 degrees. Because the heding hold is off the heli is always turning to face the wind. You let the model follow the wind changes on its own (i.e. basically forget about using the tail rotor) and just work the other controller to keep the model in front of you. That way you get used to hovering the model from any angle.

I use the G2 Sim. Is there a way to make it more realistic. I can fly inverted with a 3D chopper but have a had time keeping my Hummingbird stable in the air. I've got it on realistic landing mode. Anything else I can do?

Had to edit. Maybe if you push the space bar and think real hard, it might work.
