I just finished building a standard mix Vigor.Assembly time I would estimate 20-24 hrs(I am very anal about building things correct and precise). Kit quality was very good. The instructions told you everything you needed to know, and had many good line drawings for each step.I had one bad part.A threaded rod that connected two links came with munched threads that looked like the tooling got out of whack.Horizon shipped the new part n/c to me in two days time, and asked no questions. The os 91 needed a gear change(pinion and main)to work right. This neccessitated sloting the main mast and belt pulley holes in the side frames to make room for the larger gears. It probably costs you an extra 1-2 hours work. Also, I added larger tail blades to help with the torque of the 91.The futaba horn holes shown in the instructions worked perfect.I used theFutaba 9ch radio.I love this radio!Set ups are very easy. The links on the kit are very tight and need sizing before you can fly at all.Take the time to get them right and it will really be smooth. The kit is very stable in hover. My machine has no vibration problems at all.The 91's power is awesome. When you punch it hard the Vigor goes up like a bottle rocket. The one gripe I have is with the canopy.A $700 machine does not deserve this junky canopy. You have to cut out the 3 windows(the Venture at $269 comes pre-cut)and mine was slightly warped. The glass bubble of the canopy did not come close to the lines they say to cut on,and you have to free hand cut the thing down to size.Even with a helper I could not get the window to screw on perfectly.I don't think anyone could. The decals were good.........JR Vigor-thumbs up,but plan on buying a painted glass canopy if you like your machines fully pimped out.Comments or more information welcome.

See my post for starting problems in General heli.More flight info-I got to ring it out the other day. This is a powerfull bird. The FFF is similar to 60's,but the vertical performance is 3 times as good. The ship is very strong and stable. It was below the knees inverted with confidence the first real(non break-in)day out.I think it is a good helicopter with a couple of bugs still in it that keep it from being phenominal.

Hi, Im planning to buy a 90 soon. My options are the Vigor 90 or the Fury Extreme. To help me decide, please let me know the lenght of blades used on the Vigor and the pipe or exhaust system. Any upgrades are advisable to go 3D?
Thanks.

Mavrick 720mm carbons/muscle pipe II . 3d fins were only mod from stock kit.Flys great, nothing has broke or got sloppy.Motor starts a little better but it still needs the start method in my main heli forum post.Great power from os 91,mine runs smooth with the perry pump.

Pulled out 91 in favor of os61.Easy starting and a smoother run was worth the power loss to me.I am much happier with the 61 package. It still gets around just fine,it just doesn't have the amazing vertical climb.
