Terry....
I picked one up also. I have it installed but we are having a week of rain here in the Los Angeles Area so I haven't tried it yet. I opted for the counter balance weight in my Raptor 50 metal fan and then balanced the whole fan on my high point balancer. They only give you the magnet so I had them send me the counter balance weight. That was probably not necessary. The set up it really neat on the gov and my 9393 radio lets me have a seperate setup for each flight mode. I'm curious as to what you have to say after you try it since your skill level is much higher than mine and you have tried other govs.

John Garst has a RevLoc unit from CSM that is designed to work with the Stator Gator. He is using in a gasser. Talked to John yesterday and he told me the unit is awesome on the gasser. You can read about it here http://www.helifreak.com/about4724.html

Actually I have and it doesn't co-exist well with the 601 gyro so it is going into a Rap 50 with a 560V4 gyro.

I'll be curious as to how you make out with it compared to the other governors you have used.
Thanks

Terry what problems where you having with the CSM Revlock and a GY601.
I have ran a Revlock in a gasser and it worked great but that was with a Gy401 gyro. I plan on running one in my gasser, but I also plan on using a GY601 gyro as well.

I am running one in my SRII 90 I have a TJ on my raptor and the couldn't be more different in operation. where I had to go to a flat throttle curve on my raptor 100-80-80-80-100 to get it to fly right. the rev lock work great with my normal and idle up curves. It is critical to have your throttle ATV's to be within the range mentioned (I think it is 45 to 115) and not change them without re-calibrating. I found the engine needs to be tuned right or the system can get into a violent feedback loop. It needs a fast servo or a normal servo with a long arm and reduced ATV. After a learning curve I am happy with it.
