Mike,
I'm really glad to see you promote MA on your forum. I know they haven't advertised with you in a long time and the reasons behind that are well documented.
I'm just happy to see you step up and promote it for the hobby.
I am now the proud owner of a Fury Extreme and I can honestly say I wish Rotory had more MA coverage. I for one would love to see much more activity here from the MA pilots and manufacturers. Hopefully we can see a little more activity in the MA forum here.

Welcome to the MinAir family. Please, ask away on any Xcell questions, or if you just want to talk. I am a very experienced Xcell guy. I would be the rep for Atlanta, but a freind of mine in the club beat me to it, and they don't need 2 in the same area.
So, bring it on and be sure to let everyone know that the Fury, and all Xcells are great flying machines, and best of all it's american owned and built.

I would like to thank you guys for supporting the Miniature line - As I mentioned, Steve Campbell is doing an X-Cell story in Rotory and I have a few other irons in the fire to help support the Miniature Flyers.
Regards,
Mike Mas

Gold is out, Johnny. "Titanium" is in... MA went to a different anodizing process. There are a few gold parts still out there (the frame spacers and push-pull stand-offs in my new kit are gold), but as they get sold/used up you won't be seeing them anymore.

This gold, to titanium color thing is actually becoming an issue on the NEW, but older Xcell kits. A guy got a new Pro2K, but half was gold parts, and the rest the grey. It's a real "clash" of color, especially on a beautiful machine like the Pro2K.
Tim Schoonard said that those old kit parts that are still gold will be sent to be stripped and re-anodized in grey.
So, VERY new Pro2K's, SE's, etc... will have most if not all titanium grey parts.
The metal blade grips WILL stay black, as well as the inner ring of the swash.

Yup. My new clutch bell is grey. But since the thing is going inside a fuselage, I elected not to worry about it.
Everything is coming with the Fury swashplate too, these days. I haven't made up my mind whether I like that or not...

Raymond, it won't be an actual review of a machine. It's going to be a multi-part treatise on how to do your first scaler, written from a newbie's (to scale, anyway) perspective.
I'll be using a set of new ST mechanics which I bought for the purpose, and the fuse kit is my Xmas present from the wife...<G> It's the LongRanger, which will be done to look like N357SP, a 206L-4 operated by my employer.
Don't look for this before late summer, since I'm still waiting on the fuselage kit. MA doesn't keep them in stock anymore, but builds to order. And I am a notoriously slow builder, which process will be slowed even more by the need to document each step, take photos, etc.
The mechs are about 3/4 way finished, but I've still got to put a gallon or so through them. Rule # 1- get the mechanics right BEFORE installation...<G>

Yeah, I hear ya Mongo.....
There are some places that have 3 reps, but I have one IN MY CLUB!!! So, no dice. Eric Larson is the local MA rep and he's a great guy, and a great flyer. But, I am on as the Mikado rep. and who knows about another, right?

Well since the posts you replied to are two years old. Then I would guess your subscription just started, or is about to run out from the information you replied to.
