Can anyone help me find a new 35mhz LCD screen for my Futaba WC2. I opened the case the other day to see a big patch of black liquid crystal. The liquid crystal is sandwiched between the layers but is obstructing the views in the menus. I have been in touch with Ripmax and they would rather sell new trannys than repair. This is a good tranny and I would appreciate any help from a supplier in getting a new screen - and I know they are expensive. Thanks

You could try either Futaba of USA or Futaba of Japan.
Radio South in FL/USA might also be able to help out.
If your a do it your self person you could open the radio, and try to find a part number on the part and then google it to find a supplier.
Good luck.
If Wile E. Coyote had enough money to buy
all that ACME crap,
why didn't he just buy dinner? |

I have already searched with google with the part number, the screen is not a cheap item, £200 or $400. I am in correspondence with Radio Shack - many thanks

$400 bucks
You can buy a used 9Z WCII in really good shape for 500.00. Something you may want to think about.
