Hello all i was just looking at raptor kit and the 30 have 49 ball bearingh and the 50 kits have 51 ball bearings. i converted my rap 30 to a 50 and dont know whare the extra bearings go. Iam in the market for a new raptor because i crashed mine realy hard the other day. even broke the motor and exhaust.
I have 2 hyperRaptor 50's and the upgrades are the same as the stock parts where the bearings are concerned. I took a look at the 50 assembly instructions and the list of bearings goes as follows.
1 clutch bell
1 pinion gear
1 start shaft
2 main shaft
4 washout levers
4 aileron levers
2 elevator control arm
2 elevator control lever
2 collective pitch control arm
2 seesaw flybar
2 main hub to seesaw
4 mixer levers
4 main grips
2 thrust main grips
2 tail pitch control lever
2 tail housing
2 tail slider
4 tail grips
I am not sure on the idlers if they have one or two in each so I am saying two here.
2 belt idler tail
4 belt idler guides
Total 49
I do not think the next systems are part of the bearing list but I have included them here.
1 swash plate
2 one-ways
For a total of 50 true bearings and 2 bearing type clutch devices (one-ways)
This is with the plastic head and grips.

Thanks Bob i was looking at Heliproz add and saw 49 and 50 bearing moddle of the raptors. Still confused. But i think i will go for the 30 size with the os 37 and the hyper 50. I am still in the crashing stage because i want to do all the tricks. I will up grade the rotor head and wash out and i also like the fly bar up grade.
