Two things come to mind here - 1) Somebody correct me if I am wrong, but I don't believe Futaba & JR crystals are interchangeable so if you installed the JR Tx crystal into your Futaba Tx that could be your problem. 2) Is your Rx battery slightly "over-charged"? Try bleeding some of the charge off of the pack and see if the problem persists.
