In response to alexander
Wahay Mike, you sure threw your teddy out of the pram today didn't you?
Probably because I said I wasn't a fervent supporter of the Mas Technique, which, as current questions are showing, is proving to be out of date and rarely used. This is obviously a big blow to the oversize ego Mr Mas posseses. I bet there is a Mas technique for blowing your nose written somewhere.
My question concerned stalled blades. When a car is stalled, its not going anywhere, when a plane is stalled, the only place its going is down, so, I wondered if the same reasoning applied to a rotor blade. I asked the question and gave a couple of possible one line answers to illustrate the sort of response I was expecting. What did I get?
"My knowledge on the matter is so extensive, it would take 10 pages of text to explain it to you, and I'm far to important to waste my time doing that for you!"
Fortunately there was someone on the forum who could give me a cogent one line answer and that together with the e-mails I received, cleared things up for me.
Meanwhile, further discussions on the forum led Mr Mas to realise his Mas technique was getting even more derided and he has let fly at everybody, even Buddy got a slap in the face and he is a great Mas supporter.
How to win friends and influence people. Mike, you are a dinosoar, wake up, look around and see what people are doing with their helicopters these days. It aint the Mas technique any more. They have moved on.
