Does anyone have an opinion on the metal head and tail box available from HHI? I want to upgrade my Shuttle, and that paticular head and tail box look great.

The shuttle is getting to be an outdated design. You would be better off spending the money on a 50 size helicopter that doesn’t need and updates. The Raptor 50 and Hirobo Evo 50 are good choices.

As RC Man mentioned, the the Shuttle has pretty much seen its best days but still does fly good. If you have one, stick with it, you can learn to fly on it as well as any other machine, However it might be debatable how much performance increase you'll achieve with the upgrade parts. With regard to the quality of the upgrade parts they are great quality - pretty much what you would find on a TSK or Quick heli.

I was aiming at the upgrades as I don't have a CCPM radio. And thus far, my little shuttle has performed quite well. If I had a CCPM radio, I would buy a Quick 30 Pro in about two seconds.
